Hip airline Virgin has teamed up with Banana Republic for a new fleet of in-flight uniforms that break with the tradition of stuffy two-piece suits—in fact, they don't look all too different from the pieces we see in stores. Incorporating the brand's signature shade, we spy a tomato-red trench, fitted black shirtdresses, thin red leather belts and a striped scarf. Staff can also add a edgy moto jacket, slimfit charcoal pencil skirt, and a pair of aviator sunglasses into their work-wear rotation.
In the past, we've also seen some noteworthy brand-designer partnerships uniforms on our homefront—think of Pink Tartan's coquette frocks for Porter Airlines, and Jeremy Laing and Greta Constantine's sleek designs for the staff at the Thompson Hotel in Toronto.
