3 New Reasons You Should Drink Coffee For Your Health

Not only is sipping on a cup of coffee really enjoyable (and let's be honest, practically a necessity for some people), but it's also a smart health decision especially for women, according to new research.

Scientists in Sweden found that females who get a daily java fix had up to a 25 percent lower risk of stroke than women who didn't drink coffee.

This is just the latest in a slew of studies that found coffee does your body good. A few years ago, researchers at the Harvard School of Public Health determined that downing even six cups of java a day doesn't cause any harm, and the benefits of coffee may be comparable to tea since many of the compounds are similar.

Another study, published in the Archives of Internal Medicine, concluded that drinking coffee (and tea) was linked to a lower risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes.
