    10 Brilliant Beauty Resolutions

Keep these beauty resolutions and you'll be the prettiest you've ever been.Keep these beauty resolutions and you'll be the prettiest you've ever been.

Want to look as pretty as possible in 2012? Then vow to follow some (or all!) of these great ideas.

    1. Repeat your greatest hits.

You've got 608 pictures of yourself tagged on Facebook. It's time to do some serious clicking and hunt for the photos in which you look the best. If you love the pics where your hair is tousled, make an effort to rock that look more often.

    2. Clean your cell phone.

Ever notice that the right side of your jaw has a few more bumps than you'd expect? That could be from all the bacteria on your cell phone. If you have an iPhone or a touch screen, it's best to pick up a cleaning kit from a store like Best Buy. For other phones, you can get away with using a tiny bit of rubbing alcohol on a tissue and gently wiping down your phone.

    3. Don't buy moisturizer without SPF.

Even in the winter. And while we're on this topic: If you skip the protection because you want to look like you hail from Brazil, you'll look like you're 15 years older later. P.S.: Schedule that skin cancer screening, too. (Can you tell Cosmo is all about practicing safe sun?!)

    4. Try a "beauty dare" once a month.

It's liberating and can help you revive your look, surprise your man, and unleash your inner beauty diva. Once every few weeks, be bold with some red lips or an elaborate hair piece or nail decals or…you get the point.

    5. Upgrade your regimen.

Maybe you've been using the same moisturizer since you were 17. That's cute and all, but now that you're 27, you probably need a new formula.  Not to mention some eye cream. Set aside some time to figure out what you should be doing at your age, and then put your plan into motion.

    6. Pay for your hair sins.

We'd never tell you to part with your beloved hair straightener or stop the highlights, but you gotta pay penance for the damage you do to your tresses. Get regular trims, do weekly deep-conditioning treatments, and give your hair a break from the blow dryer whenever possible.

    7. Go green.

Trying to be eco-friendly with every product you use can be overwhelming. So just make it a point to switch one thing in early 2012. Then, whenever it's time to make a new purchase, browse the eco-friendly beauty loot instead of automatically buying your regular products.

    8. Put a cap on your bad habits.

We all have our vices. But that doesn't make them okay, especially if you want to look your best. Smoking leads to wrinkles, heavy drinking can dehydrate your skin…don't make us lecture you.

    9. Stop picking

Your cuticles. The mascara off your eyelashes. Your zits. Whatever it is you feel the itch to pick, keep your hands off it!

    10. Get your beauty sleep.

Like you need to hear this? But still, it's worth repeating since restless nights can wreak havoc on your health and appearance. Try an eye mask if you have trouble shutting the world out.

Having beautiful skin isn't something you put aside because you are plain jane... it's called "Taking care of yourself."

Clearly the definition of "brilliant" has been changed, perhaps to stupid.

I don't have facebook anymore, and when I did I surely didn't have 600 pictures of myself and the time to sit there looking through them. And eye cream is a hoax anyway... read the ingredients and it's the same as regular face cream. But thanks for the advice, captain obvious...

LOL! I know, I thought I was reading an article for teenieboppers too..until the age of 27 was mentioned..lol I'm younger than that and I found this article difficult to read an account of my brain beginning to liquify and dribble out my ear..

Sunscreen is a myth. I was using it religiously for 15 years and I still get age spots and wrinkles. Plus they clogged pores and dehydrate skin if you use it long-term. I have stop using it for a year now and finally my skin can breathe free from those damaging chemicals and has never look fresher. The skin tone looks less greyish too.

The sun does terrible damage to your skin, maybe worse than smoking. If you can't stay out of it, wear a wide-brimmed hat.

My mom and I both agree on the anti-sun screen. Both of us find it does more damage to our skin that being natura without itl. I am almost 50 and my skin looks better now with good nutrition/exercise and decent moisturizers than it did when I was 20. We avoid getting sun burned, but we both love the sun and the summer tan.

no. the sun is not bad. UV rays are bad, and those depend on the atmosphere in the region of earth you're in. get a book (or maybe a hundred).

If one can be beautiful without painting their faces and dusting their red #$%$ then one is truly beautiful all life long....

" You have 608 pictures of yourself tagged on Facebook"? Ha! I don't have any. That way I can pretend to all these strangers that I am a beauty queen. Hurrah! Long live shallowness! But seriously, how arrogant can you get? It's not even funny as a joke really, because i'm guessing she's not even kidding, judgeing by the general shallowness of the article.

Sunscreen ... really .. I thought it was becoming manistream that sunscreen does little and the harmful chems in some will actually do the damage

This article is tribute to all that is vain, self indulgent and self entitled in North America. No wonder young girls and women have problems with their images. What a bunch of shit to slam us with on the second into 2012.

Rash on face from phone, you'll all be deformed with a crooked jaw and shoulder at the rate of phone use, you'll look like you have Cerebral palsy. One arm longer, giant cheek, a squirrel in a bear trap abstract face drooling out of one side. AHHHHH CELL PHONE with radioactivity will make you a nice glowing green too.

      Wow..
Patronising much.. I'm younger than the age mentioned in #5 and until I read # 5, I was sure this article was aimed at teen girls..
Good to know what other women are up to, I guess..

I buy almost everything except food and clothing from online auctions. .
Most people aren't aware of the almost unbelievable deals that they can get from online auction sites.
The site that has the best deals is dealsroof cöm
and I checked with the Better Business Bureau and was told that it is all legit.
How they can sell gift cards, laptops, cameras, and all kinds of goodies that we all want for 50-90% off, I don't know. I do know that I bought my son an iPad there for less than $100 and my husband a $250 Loews gift cards for $48.
Why would I even think about shopping anyplace else?

G00GLE the term ' FAST' STOCK' BUDGET ' and click the first site. Go right to the 'PE'NNY'` `'STOCK' page to see what the rich don't want you to know.

It is our turn to have all the cash.

Take a look and enjoy the money.
